Breaking Old Patterns

I am working on breaking old patterns and it is a bear of a challenge. How do you break patterns that have walked with you for years and provided comfort and a warm, peaceful solitude? Change can be so violent to our fragile souls but, the reward of a life free from the chains of bad habits is infinite.

Happy Holidays

I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving! We had a really nice time. We had dinner at my parents house with my family and then spent the rest of the night at Bren's mom's house with his very large family. There are 7 kids plus spouses, significant others and 6 of the 7 grandkids. It was a full house and crazy!!!!  Good times! How was your holiday? Can you believe Thanksgiving is over already and Christmas is right around the corner? Wow.

Oh! It snowed here this morning! It was beautiful.

 

Waning Fall

I love late fall. When the remains of the leaves are barely hanging on and the bare branches of the trees reveal themselves to me like old friends coming home for a visit, and with them their secrets whisper to me on the wings of the wind. I feel at peace.

I know that it is a personal and sometimes difficult decision for someone to share their "secrets". It just felt so right to me, to share, to help, to inspire.... from my heart to yours. Connected. I finally got around to setting up my Flickr photostream. I am still getting used to it and have some more setting up to do but at least my photo's and art are on there. Please, come on over and say hi!

Mood

I think this is how I am feeling today. A little scared, haunted, afraid of the unknown, mysterious, still, reflective, with a hint of beauty in the blurred lines.
