Thank you Heather of Gathering Spriggs for featuring my work on your beautiful blog. What a great surprise and honor. I can't wait to see your art, I know it will be amazing.

These past two weeks have been so gratifying. After years of searching for my creative heart and so many failed attempts I lost count. I finally made it to the other side. I crossed the line of art in my heart to art out in the world. The crossing of the line was opening my Etsy shop and offering my work for sale, not just showing it on my blog. There is something very different about selling it and not just showing it. The energy is different, I feel so much more connected to it. I highly recommend this to all of you on the fence about selling your work. Just do it! You can do this! I haven't made many sales...yet...but it doesn't matter. I am so proud of myself for trying.
The most important things to remember are:
• follow your heart
• Listen to that small sweet voice inside of you
• Tune out your own negative self-talk
• Develop your own mantra or positive affirmation
• Don't get overwhelmed
• Make a to do list
• Take it all one small sweet step at a time
• When you feel you have lost your center, refocus and move forward.
• Love, nurture and be kind to yourself
You can do this!
The world will be a better place with your art in it!
This is one of my favorite quotes:
“Our
deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we
are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that
most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a
child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is
nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel
insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were
born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just
in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we
unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are
liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates
others.”
~Marianne Williamson
How great is that?
