Yes, I changed my logo for hopefully, the final time. 2012 is going to be a big year for my business, I am going to be showing at Surtex in May and will start transitioning from a freelance designer to a licensed artist! The transition won't be overnight, but that is my dream. Logo's are so important as part of your brand, I wanted to make sure I was happy with mine and I wasn't, so I decided to modify it. Once I start promoting my brand it will be harder to change, now was really the time to do it. I hope you like it. I think it is sweet and feels more personal than the last one. There are so many things to think about for this coming year, my head feels like it is going to explode! It's all good though!
The only decision I am having trouble with on the new logo is, with or without brackets?

Love it! I like the brackets :-)

Your blog is very pretty. I love the logo with the brackets.

I'm liking it without the brackets - less distraction from your name which is what you want people to remember.

Thanks Ladies!!!! Oh, to bracket or not to bracket! Oh my!

Hmm, I think I love the brackets!! Your site is beautiful!! Do you do all the design/coding yourself or is there someone you could recommend? I have TypePad as well and have been doing it all on my own....eek!

Thanks Emily! I do the design/coding work myself. Self-taught on Typepad....ugh. I have spent many nights rubbing my head and wondering how the heck to do things.

I prefer no brackets, love the logo, don't think it needs the brackets.

Logo is fine without the brackets. I see them as a distraction.

I like the brackets on your blog because they reflect the style of brackets you use on your navigation bar. And either one would certainly be good for your new "branding." Congratulations.

Yes , I definitely like the "no brackets" The logo stands alone and doesn't need the distraction of anything else to detract from your name. Love your artwork..keep up the good work

I like the "no brackets". Less distraction from your name. I love the little flower-and think it is all you need for that little extra something!
Whatever you decide-one thing is for sure-I love your art!
