As promised, some photo's of my experimentation progress. I tried a couple of new things yesterday. I tried transferring images with this super sauce stuff...that didn't work so well, the image got messed up. I tried using decal paper, followed the instructions, varnished it before using... the image got messed up. So, I took a break and decided to finish my pyrography piece and mounted some of my prints on boards. Well, I love the way they turned out! What do you think?
I need to seal them with varnish, do you have any suggestions for me as far as a good brand to try or a certain type of varnish? Would you prefer a matte or glossy finish?
I am envisioning a series of these, coordinating patterns that can be hung together. Love it! I left the sides the natural wood color. It looks so pretty.
I painted the sides of this one white.
I love the way my flowers translated onto this pyrography piece. This is wood burned then painted.
Well, that's it's for now. I am going to try to paint with acrylics again today. I bought a bigger board in the hopes that I will be able to loosen up a bit. I only have a short window of time to play today so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
Have a great day.

Gorgeous! Your work seems so well-suited to these boards. Love your color palette + the wood. Have fun with the acrylics.

So sooo pretty! These are great and so unique! I think I'd like it matte finish, if it was for me. :) That way, shiny light won't distract from the art!
